At Vale, since September 2017, Giordane has held multiple roles, including Master Performance Engineer and Senior Reliability Engineer, leading numerous initiatives such as life cycle costing analysis and life extension studies, significantly enhancing equipment lifespan. Responsibilities include managing investment portfolios over USD 180MM annually, advocating for major capital projects exceeding USD 30MM, and streamlining investment methodologies, yielding substantial cost reductions. Giordane's expertise is underpinned by advanced degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Maintenance Engineering from prominent Brazilian institutions. Prior to Vale, Giordane gained valuable experience as a Mechanical Engineering intern at AZ Armaturen do Brasil Ltda. and has a comprehensive background in the maintenance strategies for heavy mining equipment.
