Glen Larson

Glen Larson, CET, has a solid background in mine engineering and technical support, with experience in various roles within the mining industry. From November 2017 to September 2018, Glen served as a Benefits Clerk at Canada Revenue Agency. Prior to this, Glen worked at Tetra Tech from June 2010 to January 2013 as a Mine Technical Specialist, where responsibilities included designing and drafting underground development drawings, creating procedural documentation, and providing informal training. At DeBeers Canada, from June 2013 to March 2016, Glen held the position of Technical Officer, focusing on geotechnical tasks and implementing a QA/QC program. Glen also worked at Vale from October 2018 to March 2009 as a Ground Control Technologist and Mine Ventilation Technologist, where data collection for pressure, temperature, and volume readings was a key responsibility. Glen holds a Diploma in Mine Engineering Technology from Cambrian College, obtained from 2005 to 2008.
