Hebson Nery

Hebson Nery is a seasoned professional in health, safety, and environmental management with extensive experience spanning over two decades. Currently serving as Health & Safety Director at Vale since October 2018, Hebson oversees corporate health and safety matters. Previously, Hebson held the position of Global Head of Safety at Vale, as well as Director of Safety & MA for South America at Michelin. Other notable roles include Corporate Manager of SMS at Logum Logistica S.A. and Regional Manager of Health, Safety & MA at ETH Bioenergia. Hebson's career also includes significant contributions at Braskem and ExxonMobil in various safety and operational roles. Academic qualifications consist of a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Universidade Federal Fluminense and multiple MBA degrees, including one in Business Management from Insper and another in Project Management from FGV.
