Izabela Camara is a seasoned mining engineer with extensive experience in iron and copper mining, currently serving as a Senior Engineer at Vale since October 2014. In various roles, including Supervisor of Drilling and Rock Blasting, Izabela has focused on operations in iron mining, impacting efficiency and productivity. Notably, Izabela led several key projects that resulted in significant operational improvements, including a 70% reduction in maintenance impact and a 30% increase in performance for off-road truck tires. Previous positions include a Trainee Engineer at JSL S.A. and an internship at ArcelorMittal’s Andrade Mine. Izabela holds a Bachelor of Engineering from the Universidade do Estado de Minas Gerais and studied at Kaplan International College London.
