Jonatha Varela

Jonatha Varela has a background in Mechanical Engineering and a Technical degree in Geology and Mining. They have held various roles at Vale, including their current position as Coordinator of Operational Reliability Engineering at the Ponta da Madeira Maritime Terminal, where they manage key processes related to health, safety, and environmental sustainability. Previously, Jonatha coordinated operational reliability engineering and supervised processes related to port operations. They are also a Six Sigma Green Belt specialist and are pursuing a postgraduate degree in Business Management at Fundação Dom Cabral.
