Laura Barcelos is an experienced mining engineer currently serving as a master engineer and tactical mine planning coordinator at Vale since February 2021. Previously, Laura worked as a mining consultant at Deswik from January 2018 to February 2021 and held various roles at Vale, including an internship in mine operations on the S11D project and in mineral beneficiation. Early career experience includes internships in long-term planning at SDPM and involvement in social exchange programs with AIESEC. Laura holds an MBA from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas and has a background in engineering from Universidade Federal de Goiás, as well as completing high school at Kelvin Grove State College.
