Leandro J. Arruda

Leandro J. Arruda is the Gerente de Estudos Técnicos Ambientais de Longo Prazo at Vale, specializing in environmental licensing with extensive experience in the mining sector. They previously held the position of Associate at Golder, managing the Socio-environmental Studies Department in Brazil for nearly a decade. With a Bachelor's in Ecology (2004) and a Master's in Plant Biology (2009) from Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais, along with an MBA in Business Management from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (2017), Leandro has contributed to diverse projects across Brazil, Latin America, and the Middle East, focusing on various environmental and social issues. Currently, they serve as Executive at WSP Brasil, leading business development for mining and acting as ESG Champion for LATAM.
