Magno Antonio

Magno Antonio is a seasoned mining professional with extensive experience in operations management across various companies in the mining sector. Currently serving as Mine Operations Manager at Vale since December 2019, Magno is responsible for the operations of multiple mines in the Mariana Business Unit. Prior roles include Operations Manager at GSM Mining, where Magno oversaw the implementation of an iron ore open pit mine, and General Manager at Leagold Mining Corporation, managing financial and operational aspects of the Mineração Riacho dos Machados unit. With a strong background in metallurgical processes from positions at AngloGold Ashanti Brasil and earlier roles in process engineering and project management, Magno holds an M.B.A. in Project Management from FGV and a Mine Engineering degree from UFOP.
