Marcos Marinho has extensive experience in engineering, particularly within the railway sector, having worked at Vale since May 2004 in various roles, including Senior Engineer and Pleno Engineer in the Engineering and Asset Management Directorate. Responsibilities have included management of railway materials and machinery engineering. Marcos has also served as a member of the faculty at Faculdade Pitagoras, teaching courses in mechanical construction materials and thermal treatments from August 2017 to December 2019, and previously worked as a Maintenance Mechanic Jr. at Santher. Educational qualifications include multiple MBAs in tribology and railway engineering, as well as a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Centro Universitário do Leste de Minas Gerais.
