Mathieu Roy

Mathieu Roy, MBA, P.Eng, is an accomplished mining engineer currently employed at Vale since August 2019, specializing in technical services at Totten Mine. In this role, Mathieu applies expertise in surveying, ventilation, ground control, and dewatering management while also serving as a production planner responsible for drilling, blasting, and filling designs aligned with mining schedules. Previous experience includes positions as an EIT at both Totten Mine and North Atlantic Base Metals Technology & Innovation, as well as operations support and administration roles at Gallagher Benefit Services, and supervisory and laborer roles with the City of Greater Sudbury and Levert Group. Mathieu holds a Master of Business Administration from Laurentian University, completed in 2021, and an Engineer's degree in Mining Engineering from the same institution, awarded in 2017.
