Max Gregoire has extensive experience in business development within the mining and metals industries, currently holding a position at Vale since September 2012, focusing on business planning, strategy, and integration across the Asia Pacific region. Prior to this, Max worked as a Senior Analyst at McKinsey & Company from July 2008 to July 2012, where responsibilities included due diligence in Africa, corporate strategy for a steel OEM, and market modeling for the aluminum and coking coal industries. Earlier experience as a Research Engineer at Université de Liège involved developing innovative 3-D imaging algorithms and estimating mineral reserves for a major flat glass company. Max holds an MBA from INSEAD and advanced and master’s degrees in Applied Sciences and Geological & Mining Engineering from the University of Liège.
