Meagan Lawrence

Meagan Lawrence is an experienced human resources professional currently serving as the HRBP Lead for Mining Operations at Vale since December 2018, focusing on strategic HR support for over 600 employees across the Copper Cliff Mine Complex. Previous roles at Vale include Human Resources Indigenous Lead, where advocacy for Indigenous employment equity was a priority, and Labour Relations Business Partner, emphasizing policy improvements and strategic labour relations. Prior to Vale, Meagan held HR managerial positions at Laurentian University, overseeing team performance and core HR delivery, along with various HR roles at organizations like the Greater Sudbury Housing Corporation and Inco Limited. Meagan holds a BA from Laurentian University and is a certified HR professional (CHRL) through the HRPA.
