Milena Ribas

Milena Ribas is a skilled mining engineer with extensive experience in the field. They began their career at MAXAM in 2009, monitoring the production of explosives and assessing their performance in underground mining operations. They progressed to Vale, where from 2019 to 2024, Milena developed global standards for handling hazardous materials, emphasizing explosive safety protocols. Between 2012 and 2013, they held the position of mining engineer at Odebrecht Engenharia e Construção, overseeing the production cycle of railway ballast, and later served as coordinator of a quarry and crushing plant at Transnordestina Logística from 2013 to 2019. Milena holds a Master's degree in Mineral Engineering from UFPE and previously earned an Engineer's degree from the same institution.
