Morna Smith

Morna Smith is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in corporate affairs and commercial analysis. Currently serving as a Corporate Affairs Officer at Vale since January 2016 and as a Commercial Analyst at Vale S.A. since November 2014, Morna has a robust background in supporting clients and partners in business development between Brazil and China. Prior experience includes a significant tenure as Business Manager at the Brazil-China Chamber of Commerce from November 2001 to October 2014, where responsibilities included coordinating international events, managing market studies, and overseeing projects with offices in Shanghai, Beijing, Shenzhen, São Paulo, and Rio de Janeiro. Morna holds an MBA from COPPEAD UFRJ and a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Queen's University, along with prior education at the Beijing Language and Culture University and the International School of Beijing.
