Sylvain David

Sylvain David has extensive experience in the mining and energy sectors, primarily with Vale since 2005, where roles include Energy Transition Manager, Industrial Services General Manager, Maintenance and Project/Engineering General Manager, and Plant General Manager at Vale New Caledonia Nickel HPAL plant. Prior to Vale, Sylvain held positions at INCO, including Commissioning Engineer and operations roles at the Goro Nickel project. A solid foundation in mining management was established as Mining Center Manager at Société des mines de Cap Bocage. Sylvain holds an engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from INSA Lyon, obtained from 1991 to 1996.
