Thiago Barros

Thiago Barros has extensive experience in engineering and contract management, beginning with a role as an Electrical Engineer at Energ Power, where responsibilities included detailing hydroelectric project specifications. Subsequently, at Mendes Junior, Thiago served as an Engineer Planning, managing project schedules and resources for the Rio Paracatu Mineração expansion, and later coordinated contracts for the Petrobras Terminal Aquaviário. At Vale, Thiago held multiple leadership positions, including Manager of Contract Management and CAPEX, overseeing large-scale railway project contracts to ensure governance and efficiency. Additionally, as a Master Strategic Supply Analyst and Specialist Engineer in Contract Management, Thiago focused on optimizing procurement processes and administration efficiency. Thiago holds an MBA in Project Management from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas.
