Valter Oliveira

Valter Oliveira is a Master Geologist at Vale, currently responsible for geological modeling and resource estimation for the Onça-Puma Project. With a background in geostatistics and extensive experience in underground and open-pit geology, Valter previously held positions at Yamana Gold Inc. as a Senior Geologist and Exploration Geologist. Valter earned a Bachelor of Science in Geology, a Master’s in Structural Geology, and a Doctorate in Geoscience and Structural Geology from Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (UNESP).
