Yanka Samara Silva

Yanka Samara Silva is currently the Coordenadora de Gestão de Ativos e Portfólio at Vale, where they oversee asset management across various phases, including Mina, Usina, Ferrovia, and Porto, focusing on capital allocation and investment prioritization. Prior to this, Yanka held multiple roles at Vale, including Coordenadora de Engenharia Operações e Processos, responsible for connecting railway operations to business needs and developing key performance indicators. They began their career at CONSTRUTORA MARQUISE S/A as a senior operations analyst. Yanka earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Universidade Federal do Ceará and an MBA in Finance from Universidade de Fortaleza, and is currently pursuing an MBA in Logistics and Sustainable Business at FAENE.
