Iris Shabath has had an extensive work experience in the software development field. Iris started their career at Smart Link in 1999 as a Software Engineer and worked there until 2005. Iris then joined DSP Group in 2005 and held various positions, including Team Leader, Program Manager, Software Engineer, Standards Engineer, Senior Software Developer, Architect, and Senior Software Engineer. Iris worked at DSP Group until 2018. In 2018, they joined Valens as a SW Group Leader and later became the Director of Software Development in August 2020.
Iris Shabath has a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev. Iris also has a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from the same university, with the thesis missing.
