Dr. Bo Yang

Dr. Bo Yang is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in research and development within the automotive industry. Since May 2016, Dr. Yang has served as the Asia R&D Director at Valeo, overseeing the R&D team for the Special Products line of the Lighting System. Prior to this role, Dr. Yang was the R&D Director at Kiekert AG from September 2010 to April 2016, managing two R&D centers in China and leading product development initiatives. Dr. Yang began a career in the field at Continental as an R&D Team Leader focusing on automotive connectivity, and previously worked as a Research Consultant at SCHOTT Solar Wafer GmbH. Dr. Yang holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Stony Brook University, an MBA from CEDEP, and both a Master’s and Bachelor's degree in Power and Energy Engineering and Energy Engineering, respectively, from Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
