Frederic Lafon

Frederic Lafon is an accomplished expert in electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) with extensive experience at Valeo since 2000, where responsibilities include serving as Group EMC Engineering Manager and overseeing design support activities for multiple regions, including Europe, India, China, and the US. Frederic has led technical management of an EMC design team and developed methodologies and modeling tools to enhance project support. Prior to Valeo, Frederic worked at Renault from 1998 to 2000 as an EMC technician focusing on test vehicles and immunity tests, and at UTAC from 1997 to 1998 conducting EMC tests for vehicles and equipment. Frederic holds an HDR in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Université de Rennes I, a PhD in EMC from INSA de Rennes, a Master's in CEM from Université Blaise Pascal, and a DUT in Physics from Université Paris-Est Créteil. Early education includes a Bac in Maths and Physics from Lycée Champlain.
