Hazem Abbas

Hazem Abbas is an accomplished engineering professional with a Bachelor of Science in Mechatronics Engineering from The German University in Cairo, achieved with Excellent Honors, and a Bachelor Thesis in Machine Vision from RWTH Aachen University. Hazem's experience includes a role as an Industrial Engineering Intern at Badr El Din Petroleum Company, where the focus was on the instrumentation process. At Valeo, Hazem advanced through several positions, culminating as a Senior Embedded Software Engineer, responsible for overseeing technical activities and serving as the primary liaison with customers. Additionally, Hazem developed model-based software and established layered software architectures for customer-specific projects. Prior experience includes a volunteer position as a Research Assistant at the Robotics and Autonomous Systems Research Lab, contributing to the development of a motion control system for an autonomous robot and co-authoring a research paper presented at an international conference.
