Jose Ortiz

Jose Ortiz is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in materials analysis and plastic engineering. Currently serving as Materials Analysis Manager at Valeo Lighting Systems since March 2006, Jose oversees the analysis of materials related to warranty returns and customer incidents, primarily from factories in France, Belgium, and Poland. In previous roles at Valeo, Jose established teams focused on designing and fine-tuning plastic injection molds, including the development of a new team in Wuhan, China. Before joining Valeo, Jose worked as an R&D Engineer at Solvay Advanced Polymers in Belgium, specializing in the development of industrial production processes for plastic materials. Jose holds a PhD in Process Engineering from Institut national polytechnique de Lorraine, an MBA in Business Administration from Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México, and a degree in Chemical Engineering from Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City.
