Matthieu THOMAS is a seasoned project manager currently serving as a P1 Project Manager on Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) at Valeo since October 2022. Prior to this role, Matthieu THOMAS spent over 16 years at Groupe Renault, holding various key positions including Software & Tuning Chief Engineer for the €7 gasoline engine, where responsibilities included software development and engine tuning for direct injection engines. Matthieu THOMAS also worked as a Software & Tuning delegate Chief Engineer for the first particulate filter on direct injection gasoline engines, led a team as Chef d’équipe développement logiciel focusing on engine control strategies, and served as a technical expert in climate adaptation for spark-ignited engines. Other roles included managing project resources for computer-aided engine tuning and developing energy efficiency methodologies for engine testing. Matthieu THOMAS holds a Master of Science in Internal Combustion Engine Engineering from IFP School and an engineering degree from Icam.
