Michael Aeckerle

Michael Aeckerle is an experienced engineering professional specializing in LiDAR technology and systems engineering within the automotive sector. Currently serving as the LiDAR Team Lead System Engineering at Valeo since October 2022, Michael is responsible for managing a team of eight engineers and overseeing point cloud development and performance. Prior to this role, Michael was the Lead Systems Engineer at WayRay, where responsibilities included leading systems engineering activities and defining system architecture. Michael's previous experience at Valeo involved acting as a technical lead for LiDAR projects and developing new validation concepts, while earlier roles included research and development at Robert Bosch GmbH, focusing on laser welding and material testing.
