Ravi Soni

Ravi Soni is a System Development Engineer at Valeo since December 2025, previously serving as an ADAS/AD Camera Perception Function Owner at CARIAD from May 2023 to November 2025, where significant achievements included the successful delivery of a series production for VW brands pertaining to camera perception for AEB and the development of perception algorithms for ADAS features. Prior experience includes working as a Data Science and Analytics Engineer at Aptiv, focusing on data analytics tools for Interior and Exterior sensing systems in autonomous vehicles, and as a Senior Software Engineer at Veoneer, where leadership in tool and dashboard development for evaluating ADAS features was demonstrated. Ravi began the career as an Engineer Intern, involved in black-box testing of radar systems. Educational qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Automotive Electronics from Vellore Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Rajiv Gandhi Prodyogiki Vishwavidyalaya.
