Roberto Hernandez is an experienced R&I Technical Engineer and PhD student at Valeo since February 2024. Previously, Roberto served as a Photonics Research Engineer at C2N - Centre de Nanosciences et de Nanotechnologies from February 2023 to February 2024, focusing on the fabrication and characterization of InGaN/GaN and InGaN/InAlGaN nanowires LEDs, as well as flexible μ-LEDs. In addition, Roberto founded BeeLinguist in May 2020, an e-learning platform for language learning that has attracted over 60 students across Mexico, the USA, Europe, and South America. Prior roles include image analysis of crystal-phase heterostructures in nanowires at C2N and a Product Engineer position at Intermatic in 2017. Roberto holds a degree in Molecular Nano- and Biophotonics from ENS Paris-Saclay and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechatronics from Tecnológico de Monterrey and Fachhochschule Kiel.
