Alan X. Chen

Alan X. Chen has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. In 2009, they began their career as an Investment Banking Analyst at CIBC World Markets. Alan X. then moved on to work as a Private Equity Associate at AIMCo in 2009-2010. From 2011-2014, they worked at J.P. Morgan as a Global Fixed Income Specialist. In 2014, Alan founded Valeon and served as the Founder & CEO. In the same year, they also became a member of the Oxford Business Alumni Advisory Council at the University of Oxford, a position they held until 2018. Since 2017, Alan has been a Guest Lecturer at Peking University, and starting from September 2019, they have taken on the role of Guest Lecturer at Tsinghua University.

Alan X. Chen has a Master of Science degree in Financial Economics from the University of Oxford. Alan X. also holds a Bachelor and Master degree in Biomedical Sciences & Business Administration from the University of Calgary.
