Solange Pacheco is a Product Manager and Module Lead at ValGenesis since July 2022, previously serving as a Senior Data Scientist at 4Tune Engineering from November 2020 to June 2022 and as a Senior Research and Development Engineer at biosurfit from November 2015 to November 2020, where contributions focused on advancing in-vitro diagnostic testing. Solange co-founded FH - Portugal in November 2012, working towards the early identification and diagnosis of familial hypercholesterolemia to combat cardiovascular disease. As a PhD student from July 2011 to October 2015 at Lund University and Instituto Nacional de Saúde Dr. Ricardo Jorge, research involved investigating biomarkers for occupational diseases. Early career contributions included consulting and research on Bluetongue disease at the Veterinary Medicine Faculty - Lisbon University and DGAV, as well as volunteering at Casa de Santo António to support young single mothers. Solange holds a PhD in Clinical Proteomics & Public Health from Faculdade de Ciências da Universidade de Lisboa and a Master's degree in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Lisbon.
