John Templer, Jr.

Mr. Templer has spent his entire career within the financial services industry. He was a co-founder and senior manager of Mr. Payroll, a financial services company that franchises, supports, and operates financial service centers across the U.S. and is currently owned and operated by Cash America International. Later, he led the development of a patented automated check cashing ATM with integrated biometric identification software and decision engine. He developed and launched programs with Walmart, Wells Fargo, Bank of America, Kroger, Albertsons, Texaco, et al. These experiences inspired the creation and development of VALID Systems. As co-inventor, he is the recipient of nine US patents for automated decisioning and check cashing.
