Derek Jacobson has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Derek is currently working as the Director of Enterprise Business Applications at Validant starting from March 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Net@Work from June 2017 to March 2022, where they held the position of Practice Director. Derek also served as the General Manager, CPG and Retail, Salesforce.com CRM Practice at Levementum from April 2016 to June 2017. Before that, they were the Chief Operating Officer at Binary Anvil from August 2014 to November 2015.
Earlier in their career, Derek held the role of Vice President Ecommerce Practice at Levementum from April 2007 to August 2014. Derek also worked at Microchip from 2002 to 2007, where they served as a Senior Manager and implemented various applications for the global sales force. Additionally, Derek worked at Pegasus Solutions as the Manager of Development and System Architect from August 2000 to April 2003, and at McKesson HBOC as a Senior Software Engineer from February 2000 to August 2000. 
Derek started their career as a Programmer Analyst at American Express from March 1997 to February 2000. Before entering the technology field, Derek had experience in the leisure industry, serving as a Golf Shop Manager at Leisure World from 1992 to 1994.

Derek Jacobson completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at the University of Phoenix from 2000 to 2002, with a focus on varied fields of study. In September 2018, they also obtained the ClickDimensions Certified Professional certification.
