Andrew Rankin

Andrew Rankin has over 15 years of experience in the technology industry. From 2003 to 2017, they have worked at various companies in roles ranging from HTML Content Intern to Director of Technical Operations. In 2003, they worked as a Tech Support at Simmons College and as an HTML Content Intern at Devine & Pearson. From 2005 to 2009, they worked at McClatchy Interactive as a Systems Engineer, Software Developer, and Support Developer. In 2009, they joined GlaxoSmithKline as a Senior Linux Systems Engineer and Linux Systems Engineer in the Scientific Computing department. From 2013 to 2015, they were a Senior DevOps Engineer at Appia and an AWS Cloud Engineer at Cognitect. In 2016, they were a Lead DevOps Engineer at SignalPath, LLC. and in 2017 they became Director of Technical Operations at Validic. While at Validic, they also served as Manager & Lead DevOps Engineer and Lead DevOps Engineer, where they built and designed infrastructure using Kubernetes & cloud formation to ensure redundancy and ease of deployment and ensured HIPAA compliance throughout the infrastructure.

Andrew Rankin attended the Wentworth Institute of Technology from 2000 to 2004, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.
