In their previous role as Senior Director of Personal Health at Cerner Corporation, Brian was responsible for the acquisition integration of a $45M company. Brian also orchestrated collaboration of executives and stakeholders across the organization and was responsible for business development and contract negotiation. Brian regularly communicated with press and analysts, including CNBC, Reuters, and Forbes. Additionally, they led strategic direction and innovation of a product management team from concept to launch and had executive oversight of consulting and support operations. Brian was also responsible for evangelizing patient empowerment, high-quality design, and user testing. Brian provided strategic sales support in high-value opportunities and was responsible for positioning, pricing, and packaging. Lastly, they managed staff development and training programs that reduced time to competency for new employees from twelve months to six months.

Prior to their work at Cerner Corporation, Brian was with Validic for 2 years 8 months as the General Manager & Sr. Director of Population Health Management. In this role, they were responsible for the daily activities of a $50M P&L and executive management of the acquisition integration of a $45M company. Brian also interacted with C-suite members of leading health care organizations on a daily basis.

Brian Carter attended the University of Missouri-Columbia from 1996 to 2000, where they studied computer science.
