Steven Cooper has a diverse professional background. Steven began their career in 2002 as an actor, puppeteer, and instructor for Bits N Pieces Puppet Theatre. Steven then moved to Penobscot Theatre Company in 2002, where they were an actor, fight choreographer, and stage combat instructor. In 2003, they worked as a fight choreographer and stage combat instructor for the Alaska Theatre of Youth. From 2007 to 2014, they worked as a Talent Theatre Teacher for Lafayette Parish Public Schools, where they wrote three grants that were funded. In 2014, they worked as a Social Media Director for Jack Rabbit Creations Inc. and as a Standardized Patient for Duke Medical School. From 2016 to 2021, they worked for EBSCO Industries, Inc. / NoveList, where their roles included Technical Support Manager, Senior Technical Support Representative, and Technical Support Representative. Most recently, in 2021, they began working as a Senior Support Analyst for Validic.
Steven Cooper began their educational journey in 1994 at Louisiana State University, where they pursued a major in Theatre. In 1998, they transferred to Northwestern State University, where they completed their B.A in Theater with a minor in Philosophy in 2001. In 2016, they attended The Iron Yard to obtain a Back End Development certification in Ruby on Rails.
