Nik Richers

Nik Richers, Ph.D., is an experienced people leader passionate about writing and team development. Currently serving as the Head of Docs at ValidMind, they spearhead documentation and community initiatives in AI risk management. Previously, as a Senior Manager of Technical Writing at Elastic, they optimized documentation practices and built high-performing teams. They have held various roles at IBM Canada, contributing to core database functionality and content strategy, and have also engaged in volunteer work with Refugee Rescue and the Royal Canadian Marine Search and Rescue. Richers earned a Ph.D. in Philosophy from York University.
