Cody Weitzel, P.E.

Cody Weitzel, P.E. has a diverse work experience in the energy industry. Cody currently holds the position of VP Subsurface at Validus Energy since March 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Subsurface Manager at Pontem Energy Capital from July 2020 to September 2022.

Cody has a long history with Anadarko Petroleum Corporation, where they held various roles. Cody served as the Delaware Reeves County Asset Manager from May 2019 to November 2019. Before that, they were the Delaware Planning and Reserves Manager from October 2016 to May 2019. Cody also worked as the DJ Basin Reservoir Characterization Supervisor from June 2014 to October 2016, the Powder River Basin Reservoir Engineer from March 2011 to June 2014, and the Uintah Basin Completions Engineer from June 2009 to March 2011.

Cody Weitzel, P.E. obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines. Cody attended the school from 2005 to 2009.
