John Dodds is a seasoned geologist currently serving as the Owner of JED Geological and as a Senior Geologist at Validus Energy. Previously, they worked at Chesapeake Energy as a Geologic Advisor from 2011 to 2024, after holding positions at SM Energy Company and GeoEngineers. John holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Geology from the University of Oklahoma and the University of Missouri-Columbia, respectively.
