Shane O'Neill is the Global Head of Capital Markets at Validus Risk Management, a position they have held since 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Non-Linear Rates Trader at ING from 2018 to 2021 and as a Trader at Total in 2017. Shane also spent six years at Lloyds Banking Group as an Interest Rate Options Trader. They earned a MA in Mathematics of Finance from Columbia University and a BSc (Hons) in Physics with Theoretical Physics from Imperial College London.
