Genping Liu

Genping Liu is a Partner at Vertex Ventures SE Asia & India, with a focus on sectors such as consuming internet, enterprise tech, fintech, deep tech, and blockchain. Since October 2010, Genping has specialized in early to mid-stage investments across countries including Singapore, Vietnam, Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, and the Philippines. Additionally, Genping holds multiple board member positions at companies like Coolmate, Validus Capital Pte Ltd, and Hertzwell, and has served as a board observer for Nium and Pace Enterprise. Past experience includes investment roles at Coinomo and SOCASH PTE LTD, as well as involvement with Binance Singapore. Genping holds an MBA in Strategy & Finance from UCLA Anderson School of Management and degrees in Computer Engineering from Nanyang Technological University and Xi'an Jiaotong University.
