Dave Maik

Dave Maik is an experienced Channel Director currently leading efforts at Valimail, where the focus is on real-time email authentication and phishing protection for over 30,000 organizations. Prior to Valimail, Maik served as Channel Director North America at DefensX, contributing to the democratization of cybersecurity with user-friendly and cost-effective solutions. Maik has a strong background in sales and channel management, including a tenure as Director of Enterprise Sales at SoftThinks, where annual growth of 30% was achieved. Additional roles include sales and channel development positions at Tabernus (now Blancco), and international sales management at Electronic Network. Maik's earlier experience includes managerial positions at Converge-Net/CDMS, Marltech Inc., and Westcon, along with product management roles at Globelle - Tech Data Canada. Maik holds a Bachelor of Public Administration from Carleton University and a Marketing Major from Humber College.
