Valinor ApS is a Copenhagen-based biotech startup pioneering the development of an innovative platform for the production of individualized cancer therapies.

Every cancer is unique, as every cancer arises from the accumulation of numerous genetic mutations, often tens to hundreds of thousands per tumor. Yet, current treatments do not exploit this vast majority of targets. Valinor's patented treatment can, with ultra-high precision, target cancer cells at their core, introducing lethal DNA double-strand breaks exclusively in the cancer cells. This approach is akin to the cell-killing mechanism of radiation therapy (DNA breakage) but with unparalleled precision – only tumor cell DNA is lethally damaged, sparing all normal cells.

Valinor’s pipeline identifies cancer-specific DNA targets in the patient’s tumor genome, enabling AI-assisted bioinformatics target selection, CRISPR/Cas engineering, and drug product nanoparticle assembly for the customized cancer treatment tailored to the individual case.
