Norman Shih has over 13 years of work experience in project management and operations. Norman most recently worked at Valitor as an Associate Director of Project Management. Prior to that, they held various roles at NGM Biopharmaceuticals, including Senior Manager of CMC Project Management/Operations and Manager of CMC Formulations & Drug Product. In these positions, they developed and managed CMC development timelines and operations, facilitated team meetings, and drove strategy alignment with cross-functional stakeholders. Later, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Social Research at The University of Edinburgh from 2017 to 2018, achieving it with distinction. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained a Smartsheet Product Certified User certification from Smartsheet in April 2020. Norman also holds various edX Verified Certificates in subjects such as Data Analysis for Social Scientists, Foundations of Development Policy, Human Rights: The Rights of Refugees, Humanitarian Response to Conflict and Disaster, Introduction to R for Data Science, Measuring Health Outcomes in Field Surveys, Microeconomics, and The Challenges of Global Poverty.
