Corey Young

Corey Young has worked in the technology field since 2002. Corey began their career as an Engineering Technician and Sr. Technical Support Engineer at American Dynamics in 2002. In 2004, they moved to Vicon Industries as an Applications Engineer and Digital & Network Product Specialist. In 2006, they joined Vidient as an Applications Engineer. From 2011 to 2015, they worked at Behavioral Recognition Systems, Inc. (BRS Labs) as a Director of Sales and Sr. Sales Engineer. Corey then moved to Hitachi Insight Group as Director of Global Solution Concept and Deployment from 2015 to 2017. Since 2019, they have been working at Valitus Technologies, LLC as Chief Technology Officer and Technology Consultant.

Corey Young obtained an AS in Computer Science / Network Administration from Cuyamaca College in 2000-2001. Corey then pursued self-study before obtaining a Bachelor's Degree in IT from Western Governors University. In 2015, they obtained the LPIC-1: Linux Server Professional Certification from the Linux Professional Institute.
