Ken Hurst

Starting in 1978 as a field technician, and ultimately earning the BICSI Registered Communication Distribution Designer (RCDD) credential, Ken Hurst has been in the communications industry for nearly 40 years. He is the founder of Valley Communications, Inc. and remains the sole owner of the corporation.

For the last 34 years, Ken has successfully grown VCI to become a premier integrated technology organization with an excellent management team, who average over 18 years with the company. VCI continues to strive for success by delivering the highest level of professionalism, quality craftsmanship, and integrity its customers have come to expect.

As President of VCI, Ken takes a hands-on approach by identifying which target markets to position in, managing the overall financial well-being of the corporation, aligning VCI with key manufacturers, and negotiating contracts with distributors and clients.
