Johan Bylander currently serves as the Director of Development Engineering for Power Wheelchair Development in the Group R&D at Permobil since January 2024. Prior to this role, Johan Bylander worked at Valmet for over 16 years, holding the position of Senior Manager in Machine Engineering and previously serving as Manager of Product Management and R&D at Metso from October 2001 to May 2007. Johan Bylander began a career in engineering as a Development Engineer and R&D Project Manager, also completing a traineeship in Machine Design. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Mechanical Engineering from Dalarna University and a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Mechanical Engineering from Mid Sweden University, along with further education at Chalmers Professional and IMD Business School.
