Marja Koponen

Marja Koponen currently serves as the Director of Global Financial Operations at Valmet since March 2019. Prior to this role, Marja was the Managing Director at NORIAN from September 2017 to March 2019. Previous positions include Head of Service Delivery at OpusCapita, where Marja led the Global Service Delivery team for Finnish outsourcing customers and successfully executed cost-reduction and organization harmonization programs. Marja's extensive experience in finance and IT includes roles as Service Manager, Global Process Team Lead, and IT Process Expert at various organizations, alongside notable positions at Moventas Oy, Accenture, and the Embassy of Finland in Beijing. Marja holds a Master of Science degree in Marketing from Jyväskylä University.
