Laura Bond is a Senior Scientist specializing in Cardiometabolic Diseases and Obesity at Valo Health since August 2025. Previously, Laura served as Senior Manager of Discovery Biology at Kisbee Therapeutics, where leadership involved overseeing a biology team subgroup and coordinating with contract research organizations on drug metabolism and functionality. Laura's role at Kisbee also included developing a high-throughput cell-based potency assay and identifying lead candidates for in vivo studies. Before this, Laura was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, focusing on the cell biology of lipid handling related to metabolic disease, and a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, completing a PhD in Biochemistry. Laura holds a BA in Chemistry and Biomolecular Studies from St. Olaf College.
