Ole Seibt has over 20 years of work experience in various roles and industries. Ole currently serves as a Senior Staff Engineer at Valo, where they oversee the development and production of organ-on-a-chip devices for cardiac and skeletal muscle.

Prior to their current role, Ole worked at Merete GmbH as a Product Manager, where they managed the design and prototyping of orthopedic implants. Ole was responsible for overseeing the design history of each development project and creating marketing content for product launches.

Before Merete GmbH, Ole was a Project Engineer at the same company, leading a small team to develop implants for podiatric osteosynthesis and pediatric growth guidance. Ole also handled the creation of CAD models and drawings and collaborated with clinicians, regulatory affairs, and quality control to ensure compliance with CE and FDA requirements.

Ole started their career as a Research Associate at Soterix Medical and City College of New York, where they conducted Finite Element Analysis simulations and advised clinicians in the design of therapy protocols for transcranial Direct Current Stimulation.

Ole also gained experience as an Engineering Intern at Palyon Medical Corporation, assisting in the development of an implantable morphine pump and conducting pre-clinical assessments to meet FDA requirements.

Additionally, Ole worked as a Bachelor-Thesis candidate at Philips Research, where they characterized and assembled digital photon counters modules for Positron-Emission-Tomography. Ole also performed experiments and simulations to validate the experimental results.

Earlier in their career, Ole worked as a Mechatronic Craftsman at Süberkrüp GmbH and as a Turbine Mechanic in the German Air Force.

Ole Seibt holds a Master's Degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering, which they obtained from Technische Universität Berlin between 2012 and 2014. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Mechatronics at Kiel University of Applied Sciences from 2007 to 2011. In 2009, they participated in an international exchange program at Auckland University of Technology, focusing on Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering.
