Paul Boardman

Paul Boardman has a extensive work experience in data science, drug discovery, informatics, and research. Paul is currently the Executive Director of Data Science and Drug Discovery at Valo since August 2022, having previously held the position of Senior Director in the same field from January 2020 to September 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Director at Boardman Informatics since January 2013. From 2007 to 2020, Paul served as the Founding Engineer and Principal Data Scientist at Numerate, Inc. Paul also worked as a Research Scientist at Pharmix Corp from 2004 to 2007 and as a Postdoctoral Researcher at UMIST from 2003 to 2004. Paul's early career includes a role as a Bioinformatician at British Biotech in 1999.

Paul Boardman completed their education at The University of Manchester. From 1995 to 1998, they obtained their B.Sc in Biochemistry and Applied Molecular Biology. Paul then pursued an MSc in Bioinformatics from 1998 to 1999. Finally, they earned a PhD in Genetics and Bioinformatics from 1999 to 2003.
