Ryan McCarthy

Ryan McCarthy is a dynamic and highly motivated scientific director with over 8 years of experience in gene therapy and cross-functional program leadership. Currently serving as a Director at Valo Health, Ryan has advanced multiple gene therapy programs and actively participates in executive leadership meetings. Previously, Ryan worked as a Scientific Advisor at Regeneron and held roles at Decibel Therapeutics, where they directed research efforts and led teams in the development of innovative therapies. Ryan earned a PhD in Biochemistry from the State University of New York at Buffalo and has contributed significantly to the field through numerous publications and presentations.
